Balingup Community Facilities

Community Centre building

In March 1989, the Department of Employment and Training provided a grant of $27,000 to assist with the cost of transporting four buildings from Grimwade Forest Station (CALM) to Balingup. These buildings were used to establish the Workspace complex and the Community Centre.

Community Centre

The Community Centre is used by local committees and for public meetings. It has a whiteboard, tables, chairs and tea/coffee making facilities and can be hired privately for a small fee.

Please note that the Community Centre must be booked in advance. As this venue has proved very popular for groups to hold workshops and meetings, ensure your group is not disappointed by booking ahead.

Bookings can be made by ringing Helen Christensen on 9764 1291

Workspace

The Workspace is a building complex which provides space for the storage of equipment.  Currently it is being used by the Balingup Medieval Carnival.
