Balingup Community Web

In March 1989, the Department of Employment and Training provided a grant of $27,000 to assist with the cost of transporting four buildings from Grimwade Forest Station (CALM) to Balingup. These buildings were used to establish the Workspace complex and the Community Centre.

Community Centre

The Community Centre is used by local committees and for public meetings. It has a whiteboard, tables, chairs and tea/coffee making facilities and can be hired privately for a small fee.

 

Workspace

The Workspace is a building complex which provides space for the storage of equipment.  Currently it is being used by the Balingup Medieval Carniavale and also Balingup 'Men in Sheds'.
